Formally founded in 2017 by Mrs Melita Molobane Mohlala the Molobane Foundation has always had a great goal of alleviating poverty, lack of education and unemployment in order to bring back the dignity of all impoverished South Africans whose lives we can have a positive impact on.

Mrs Melita Mohlala is also an executive chairman of a 100% Black Female owned company, Kopano Creative Concepts, with interests in the construction, property and hospitality sectors respectively. Her outreach activities have always formed a core part of her business even before the inception of the Molobane Foundation through her various construction projects where a portion of company profits went to outreach initiatives within, but not limited to, the sector.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

  • Improving the quality of life for all disadvantaged individuals which includes unemployed women, youth and the historically marginalised communities in South Africa
  • Teaching all individuals to eventually become self reliant ,equipping them with training to be able to take care of their own families.
  • Building a level of pride within the spirits of our people to be able to believe that they too can be upstanding members of society and change the lives of others..
  • Approaching every situation with attention to detail, humility, honesty and respect in mind when interacting with people from every walk of life
  • To stay consistent in whatever we do to never stop giving until we feel we have made a significant impact in society.

Collaboration with Private and Public Entities to raise funds

  • We realise that because the goals we’ve set for ourselves are big we need to build strong relationships with public and private entities to be able to reach our targets at a quicker pace and also to have more insight and points of view in terms of a particular direction that should be taken to achieve maximum results.
  • were also going as far as working closely with NGO’s (locally, provincially, nationally)  that have an aligning vision to ourselves as a foundation.

Community Engagement

  • As a company that has a background in the field of construction we’ve come to realise that a major key to success with any initiative is to work closely with the community and build confidence as well as encourage participation.
  • Working with churches, community leaders, as well as political representatives to be able to execute our initiatives successfully.
